As part of the ‘Ramadan to Remember’ CSR initiative by Cristal Hotels & Resorts, Cristal Hotel Abu Dhabi hosted a special Iftar last evening for 20 orphans nominated by the Red Crescent.

(TRAVPR.COM) UAE - July 2nd, 2014 - As part of the ‘Ramadan to Remember’ CSR initiative by Cristal Hotels & Resorts, Cristal Hotel Abu Dhabi hosted a special Iftar last evening for 20 orphans nominated by the Red Crescent. In addition to a delicious Iftar buffet, the children were treated to an exciting evening of fun, games and live entertainment including a magic show.

Present on the occasion was Kamal Fakhoury, Chief Operating Officer, Cristal Hotels & Resorts. He said, “Ramadan is synonymous with generosity and kindness, and we are glad to open our hearts and doors to these less fortunate children to enable them to have a good time.

“Our ‘Ramadan to Remember’ package allows corporations to do that little bit extra for the community… and we are confident that it will be taken up by many organisations in the emirate this Ramadan”.

Throughout the Holy Month Cristal Hotels & Resorts is supporting a variety of initiatives under its ‘Ramadan to Remember’ charity programme, working with the Red Crescent to make it a special time for orphans in the emirate.

Under the initiative the hotel invites local corporations and other organisations to sponsor a similar Iftar evenings during Ramadan for just AED 2,500 a night, when up to 20 orphaned children can enjoy their time with a magic show and face painting as well as gifts.

The Iftar buffet at Gems Restaurant in Cristal Hotel Abu Dhabi is priced at AED 115 per person. Room rates during the month are AED 399 per night with Iftar buffet for one person or AED 499 inclusive of Iftar buffet for two persons. Cristal Hotels will donate AED 20 to the Red Crescent on behalf of every guest booking the Ramadan Room Package.
