(TRAVPR.COM) INDIA - August 2nd, 2014 - A glorious evening of India Travel Awards honoring the achievements of those behind the success of the travel and tourism industry in the West India was hosted by the DDP Publications Pvt. Ltd at Novotel Pune on 25th July, 2014

The ceremony was attended by a list of distinguished personalities from the travel & hospitality trade, who came together to acknowledge the contributions of the best in the travel and tourism industry by recognizing and awarding them.

The Chief Guest of the evening Mr. Parvez Dewan - Tourism Secretary, Government of India said, “India Travel Awards is a great initiative to create an all-India platform to recognize those talents who have put in their efforts and hard work to make the travel and tourism industry grow. They deserve this credit for their achievements.”

The awards were presented to achievers from different segments of the industry which included aviation, domestic and international tourism boards, hotels and resorts, travel agents, tour operators etc.  Novotel Pune was awarded as the ‘Best Business Hotel’ for the West India.

Beginning with South India, the awards has moved on to its regional edition in the West and will be followed by East and North India, culminating into the India Travel Awards Final.
