As part of the hotels' attentive “Asian Heart” service philosophy, Temptations carefully sourced a variety of the most premium meats from around the world, from low-fat and tender US Angus beef to softly melting foie gras from the France, not forgetting the juicy Kurobuta Pork from Kagoshima in Japan, famed for its rich content in amino acids. StarWorld Hotel’s Executive Chef, Mr. Joe Chan, poured his extraordinary creativity and utmost attention in crafting this unique menu. His bold and varied use of juices, fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables adds the most delightful finishing touch to the dishes. Grilled Beef Takaki with Salmon Roe, Japanese Style

Unlike the traditional method for cooking Steak Tartare, in this rendition of the famed dish the chef lightly grills the steak until a crispy surface is seen; but still the soft, melting texture inside is preserved. The full and crisp Salmon Roe from Norway complements the freshness andjuiciness of the steak to a tee. Topped with Japanese style mashed turnips, this unique dish takes the meaning of ‘refreshing’ to a whole new level.

Charcoal-Grilled Angus Chateaubriand Steak (24 oz)

The finest breed of Angus beef boasts a long history and is widely acclaimed as the “Aristocracy of cattle”. In this dish, tenderloin was specially picked for its tender texture. With only five to six pounds of tenderloin found on each animal, tenderloin is the most precious cut of beef available. Instead of conventional thick rich sauce, the Chef barbeques the beef with apple fruitwood in order to preserve the meat’s authentic taste and texture. Fruitwood also keeps the juices locked under the crispy skin, giving it an alluring fragrance while preserving its soft and tender texture.
Grilled French Duck Breast Stuffed with Goose Liver, Raspberry Coulis

France is renowned for its high quality foie gras, both rich and somewhat creamy in texture. With this dish, the executive chef creatively stuffed the foie gras in Italian seared duck breast, itself embellished with colourful cranberries. The result is a fresh and tender duck breast with melting foie gras and refreshing berries, bringing together the best of what the summer has to offer.
Japanese Kurobuta Pork Chop, Mint & Green Apple Cake
