(TRAVPR.COM) UAE - August 10th, 2014 - The Coral Beach Resort Sharjah’s fun-packed summer camp, which ran from June 29 to July 28, concluded on a high note as it provided the participants an opportunity to enjoy themselves, keep fit, be creative and develop new skills.

Mr Jean-Pierre Simon, Regional General Manager, Northern Emirates, Coral Hotels & Resorts, said that the Resort’s summer camp has become popular with the masses as it offers result-oriented activities that encourage the participants’ decision-making and nurture the thought process of the child, in addition to encouraging innovative thinking and freeing the mind from pre-conceived notions.

“The summer camp kept the children gainfully occupied in fruitful pursuits of learning which took place in a stress free environment,” he said.

Children enjoyed themselves during the month-long camp where the programmes were run in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Besides, several indoor games and activities, the organisers also arranged outdoor trips when children were taken for educational visits to places like a chocolate factory, under the guidance of the instructors who took ample care for full safety and security of the children.

Expressing satisfaction over successful completion of the camp, Mr Simon said that there was a huge demand but they had to regret more entries as it was a full house. However, he expressed confidence that a bigger number of parents would get their wards enrolled at the camp in future.

The interaction between students from different schools and backgrounds and differing age groups develop a caring attitude and a wholesome outlook to life. It helps children interact more informally and develop social skill.

“Hope parents would take advantage of our summer camps in future as well. It offers an opportunity to participate in more discussion and communicative activities as well as social and group activities. Besides learning new skills, they get chance to care about the junior children, while sharing the experience of senior ones,” he added.
