It is Asia’s costliest train which began its royal journey in 2010. The train was built after an extensive research on some of the most luxurious train in the world. Total 88 guests can travel at a time in this luxurious train.

The five itineraries designed for the coming season let the guests embark on a luxurious voyage covering the magnificent world heritage sites at Agra in Uttar Pradesh and Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, the exquisite fort and palaces in Jaipur, the wild terrains of Ranthambore National Park and age old holy sites like Varanasi among others. The designs and interiors of the train are inspired by the palaces of the Royal Kings of the bygone era.

The Maharaja’s Express accommodations are all adorned with intricate artistic world of high-taste and present all luxury amenities that contribute towards making the journey onboard all the more sophisticated. The cabins are broadly divided into four categories- Deluxe Cabins, Junior Suites, Suite and Presidential Suite. All these luxuries accommodations are duly appointed with most modern facilities like Wi-Fi connectivity, air condition, comfortable padded beds, LCD TV, DVD player, writing desk, modern en-suite bathroom etc.

It has two regal class restaurants-Rang Mahal and Mayur Mahal- each with a capacity to accommodate 42 guests at a time. The tasteful inside décor of these restaurants add on more flavors to your every bite of food; you can choose your favorite cuisine from a list of Oriental, Continental, Indian and traditional Marwar delicacies. There is also a Safari Bar onboard Maharaja’s Express that server finest variety of wine in a relaxing ambience.
