The “Cashew Ritual” is a holistic treatment where indigenous ingredients interplay with contemporary spa techniques. Using the healing benefits of the cashew fruit, the experience is as indulgent as it is enriching.  

Begin your treatment with an aromatic cashew scrub. The scrub is a handmade mixture of cashew nuts, oils and kernels that gently exfoliates and cleanses the skin. Following this is a detoxifying cashew wrap as well as a deep-tissue massage with cashew oil in its purest form. Using firm rhythmic strokes our spa therapists skillfully apply cold-pressed virgin cashew oil in a massage designed to nourish and relax. Concluding the journey, guests are offered a refreshing cashew nectar drink.

The cashew fruit was introduced to Goa during Portuguese rule. Native to northern South America, the cashew fruit was shared with the world by Portuguese explorers during the sixteenth century. The name “cashew” is derived from the Portuguese caju, which originated from the Brazilian native Tupi word acaju.
