X2 design hotel group managed by Louvre Hotels expands in Indonesia
(TRAVPR.COM) INDONESIA - October 16th, 2014 - Design driven X2 (CrossTo) brand has arrived in Indonesia under management of the Louvre Hotels Group. X2 is design driven hotel brand which focuses on luxury hotels, resorts, villas and residences with cutting edge architecture and with a sexy appeal. The brand is designed with the primary goal to satisfy “the spirit”.
The Louvre Hotels Group, which already operates 6 brands among which the Golden Tulip Brands, Kyriad, Campanile and Premiere Classe has included the X2 brand to its business expansion plan in Indonesia managed by the country office in Jakarta. At present there are already a total of ten (10) new X2 properties in the pipeline in Bali , Lombok, Jakarta. The announcement marks the strong commitment of the X2’s global growth following the recent signing of several large hotels in Thailand and the opening of the Shanghai office.
Mr. Mark Van Ogtrop, Senior VP of Louvre Hotels Southeast Asia comments, “When we recently introduced X2 in Indonesia to several investors and property owners we received very positive feedback and strong interest for X2 hotels, resorts and residences as well as for X2 condotels and residence villas. These models are needed to help five-star brands to sell units and help the owners achieve strong rental yield on their investment. I found that X2 is a very special brand that has great architectural design, it is different from the other projects we have done here. You don’t find many hotels with unique design concepts and clear market positioning and USP’s like this in Indonesia. With this strategic partnership, I am pleased to welcome X2 on board and very much look forward to establishing the X2 brand in this country.”
Mr. Anthony McDonald, founder of X2 Design Hotel Group said, “To enter a new market, it is important to have a good management company and I am confident that under Louvre Hotels, X2 will be a great success in this region and lift the brands further international recognition. At the moment, we are working with Louvre Hotels to expand our X2 brand in Indonesia as part of our strategy to have 30 X2 properties in the region by 2016.”
“I recognized that those individuals who appreciate style and design were becoming less satisfied with the traditional tropical resort designs that while well executed, proliferate the Asian region. A design resort of more than just beautiful, high quality architecture…it is also about its integration with quality of service but of an untraditional nature and that is X2,” added Mr. McDonald.
Erick Herlangga, VP of Development for Louvre Hotels Group adds, “This new brand that we added to our group in Indonesia is quite important for our growth. We did not have such a design and boutique brand in our brand portfolio , so this addition compliments our range of brands very well for Indonesia. In many destinations there is strong demand for such a brand and we are very pleased to be able to propose this new exciting concept brand to our owners and developers.
