Nira Caledonia hotel has rolled out a package titled ‘50 plaids of Wa-hay’ to mimic Fifty Shades of Grey, the most talked about, and perhaps the most controversial of E L James’ line of work.
(TRAVPR.COM) UK - December 3rd, 2014 - If you've been waiting on a honeymoon or a private retreat with your partner, the latest offering from C&C Alpha Group’s Nira Caledonia hotel in Edinburgh s just for you. The hotel has rolled out a package titled ‘50 plaids of Wa-hay’ to mimic Fifty Shades of Grey, the most talked about, and perhaps the most controversial of E L James’ line of work.
The package combines a welcome drink on arrival and a Jacuzzi suite where guests get a black box of playful romantic items including fluffy handcuffs, a feather tickler and even some chocolate-dipped strawberries.
A private butler is available around-the-clock for those enjoying the 50 Shades package. Those who wish a more immersive experience can book a champagne bath for an extra £2,000 with a session of aromatherapy (included in the package).
If that does not spark up enough titillations, the Blackwood’s Bar & Grill with a selection of aphrodisiac ingredients on its bespoke menu could do the trick. Guests will enjoy Scottish breakfasts for both lunch and dinner, which they can ask to be served in their suite.
It was in early August that the first bondage hotel, Roissy Castle, was scheduled to open up in Spain that would have had 20 S&M-themed rooms along with a dungeon the guests could use. However, plans had to be stalled after intervention of the mayor who had upheld the objections raised by the members of the local council.
Nira Caledonia is a subsidiary of C&C Alpha Group’s hospitality wing, Shanti Hospitality. Under director Bhanu Choudhrie, C&C Alpha has expanded into one of the most noted global conglomerates.
