World Street Festival arrives at Park Hyatt Chennai with all its fanfare.  Known as pioneers in the field of chic partying, New Year’s Eve celebrations this year promises to be yet another fun-filled evening to remember with top notch food items on a specially designed Menu inspired by the best streets of the world.   
The spaces of the entire hotel will morph into some of the noteworthy streets from across the world. Typical characteristics will enliven these streets, and the food that we best associate from them will be the major sources of attraction.

The Lobby will have a signpost indicating the directions and guests are invited to explore each street at leisure.  

Food and Beverage Concept
Exemplary food offerings will be a hallmark to the different streets from around the world, with a menu that is evocative of the most typical cuisines we associate with these streets.

You may expect the most delicious Margarita pizzas on Spaccanapoli, drawing from the long, narrow winding road in Naples, succulent crab cakes on Pier 39, San Francisco, authentic Larb Gai on Khao San Road famous for its street food in Bangkok, mouth-watering sushi, sashimi with yakitori at Ginza, Tokyo and Corn Dogs on the go on Fifth Avenue, New York, just to name a few. An eclectic Cheese Shop and Salumi Bar comes straight out of the streets of Bologna, Italy. Pass-arounds like corn dogs from Fifth Avenue being peddled around complete the vibrant streetscape.

Party-goers looking for a hearty meal have the option of The Dining Room which will have a range of Indian fare from Nariman Point, Mumbai, Goa, deliciously fragrant biryanis from Charminar and dosa and iddiyapams from Thattu kadai of Chennai.

Junior guests are invited to treat themselves to the party fun at The Apartment with the food they like best like Mac n Cheese, colourful macaroons, eclairs, assorted cup-cakes, candy swirls, marshmallows and Jujube Pops.

Entertainment
In the same frame of this magical transformation of the hotel, there will be street performers like fire eaters, stilt walkers, jugglers, magicians and hawker-style service staff who will add to the visual pleasures.

The core entertainment area will be the Lily Pond where all streets will eventually converge. This area turns into a giant Dance Floor flanked by bars on either side and a contemporary two-tiered stage housing the ever-popular DJ Mazzr and Kavita Thomas and her band belting out peppy numbers. International performer, Monia Lamarche completes the chic entertainment zone with her soulful renditions and festive numbers, with The Flying Elephant’s very own DJ Malcolm completing the frame.
