The ‘World’s Largest Ginger Bread Village’ was unveiled at Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel & Spa (UDS),Kovalam, Kerala, India. On Saturday, 20th December of this year. The inaugural function was organized by UDS visitors flocked to Kovalam to see the grand celebration of Ginger Bread Village and became a feast to the eyes of the visitors around the globe.
This exciting project was conceived by Pastry Chef Mr.Kishore with the support & leadership of Chef Rhynold, Executive Chef, and the rest of his team commenced the work on 14th November in their spare time in making their very own gingerbread village in attempt to break this world record set in the US in 2013. By attempting a total weight of 2.28 Tons in an area of 504 square feet made up of a River, Waterfall, Mountains, railway stations, School, Hospital, Bus Stand, Play ground, Temples, Church, Well, Clock tower, Hanging Bridge, Forests, Flora & Fauna, as well as Bicycles, Cars Banks and ATM’s etc.,
Indeed, UDS has brought out an innovative and attractive way of celebrating the last festival of the year by presenting the “World’s Largest Ginger Bread Village”
