Luxury hotel’s “Wish Upon the Star” program brings gifts to handicapped children in Bangkok

(TRAVPR.COM) THAILAND - December 26th, 2014 - The Mayfair, Bangkok – Marriott Executive Apartments “Wish Upon the Star” event proved to be a huge success as the hotel’s staff, along with 100 associates from seven Marriott properties, gathered together with Christmas gifts at the Ban Rachawadee male home and female home for children with redundancy/multiple disabilities. The staff and children enjoyed fun, games, food and drink, all in an effort to encourage self-esteem by giving each child the much-needed emotional support they deserve during the holidays.

“Wish Upon the Star” was held on the 16th of December at the Ban Rachawadee male home and female home, where hundreds joined in on the fun and festivities. As part of Marriott’s Spirit to Serve program, the event demonstrates Marriott’s willingness and earnestness to foster programs designed to help better communities across the globe. It is one of many charitable events the Mayfair, Bangkok – Marriott Executive Apartments undertakes each year.
