Singapore, 16 January 2015 – Speaking from his Singapore office, Andrew Chan, CEO today announced the appointment of Mr Leon Nonis, Ms Naqiya Electricwala and Ms Wei-Inn Lim as new members of the ACI Executive Team in Singapore.
Leon Nonis, a graduate of Singapore Hotel and Tourism Educational Centre (SHATEC) has a wealth of experience in the hospitality and service industry with a diverse range of management positions over 14 years. Beginning his career in 1995 at the world renowned, and iconic Raffles Hotel Singapore, Leon was appointed Management Trainee, with exposure in all aspects of the hotel’s operations. He progressed his career in sales and has since worked for International brands such as Millennium & Copthorne, Accor and Thistle/ Guoman Hotels where he was Account Director. In 2012, Leon’s last appointment was at Raffles Singapore as their Director of Sales.
Naqiya Electricwala began her career in London with Virgin Atlantic Airways in 2003, and has worked for some of the most prestigious airlines and travel companies globally. Having worked in Sales and Account Management within Cathay Pacific Airways, Qatar Airways and Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Naqiya’s last role was with IATA as Regional Sales Manager, Aviation Solutions based in Singapore. A graduate of the University of Bristol, UK in Law LLB, Naqiya brings her invaluable international experience and relationships to the clients and network of ACI HR Solutions.
Wei-Inn LIM has worked in the F&B industry across Asia and will focus on the F&B and Hospitality needs of ACI’s clients. Joining TMS Asia Pacific in 2006 as a Recruitment Consultant, Wei-Inn furthered her career by joining the pre-opening of the world-renowned and iconic Marina Bay Sands Singapore, where she was responsible for the administration function of the F&B team. She subsequently took this experience to The Westin, Singapore as Assistant Sales Manager prior to joining ACI.
