(TRAVPR.COM) USA - April 15th, 2015 - WATERVILLE VALLEY, NH - The White Mountain Athletic Club (WMAC) is getting set for another phase of renovations this spring beginning April 20th. New this year for members and guests will be an overhauling of the existing steam rooms and sauna rooms into new larger ones with more seating and beautiful glass lined fronts.
“The addition of these new larger steam and sauna rooms is a continuation of our ongoing commitment to meet the needs of our members on a continuing basis”, states President Tom Gross, Jr. “it signifies the last major significant piece of upgrading we need to do in our lower level. We look forward to everyone enjoying these new areas of the club.”
The project, expected to cost in excess of $70,000, will be undertaken by Kelly’s Improvements and is expected to be finished in time for the summer crowds.
General Manager Rene Schwartz states , “the saunas will be hot, dry and perfect for relaxing and the new huge steam room will feature a fine mist steam in a beautifully lit and tiled room. We knew after completing the locker room renovations and huge indoor pool complex last year we would eventually have to turn our focus to these areas of the club.”
The White Mountain Athletic Club offers two indoor tennis courts, a jogging track, a racquetball court, cardio room, weight training facilities, steam rooms, saunas, locker rooms, yoga/stretch studio, a full service pro shop, a game room, an outdoor Olympic size swimming pool, massage spa, DVD/video rentals, and is home to the Coyote Grill. It also owns and operates the award-winning 18 clay-court Waterville Valley Tennis Center.
