(TRAVPR.COM) SOUTH AFRICA - July 9th, 2015 - With the recent news coming in, the African Union has announced South Africa to become a hub for the manufacturing and supply of rail stock for Africa. Keeping up with the current growth in Africa, the 4th Annual African Railway summit will be held on 17-18 November 2015 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The summit will bring together railway professionals and intensify on the traditional challenges of the industry including infrastructure challenges, importance of rolling stock, rehabilitation of old networks, rail investments, PPP approaches and the new strategies to implement in innovating rail technology for Safer Africa.
The conference will cover 18+ interactive presentations and panel discussion in the two day conference with key experts from Africa and other continents providing a holistic purview on the rail developments in the region. New age signalling techniques, discussing the benefits linked to railway v/s roadway in terms of investment, procurement strategies and international perspective on railways are the new topics on this year's agenda.
