Travel to Kerala by Maharajas' Express in 2016

(TRAVPR.COM) INIDA - July 28th, 2015 - One of the luxury trains, Maharajas' Express, operated by IRCTC will be running on a new route, Delhi- Kerala next year (in 2016) during monsoons. This will be a great chance for all the travel freaks to enjoy a pleasurable journey to southwest India as this is the best time to visit Kerala.

Kerala is known as one of the most romantic gateways of India and falls in the Konkan Caost. Furthermore, monsoon is considered to be the best time to visit the place. According to railway minister, Sh. Suresh Prabhu, the luxurious holiday train will be operated covering the destinations of  - Delhi, Mumbai, Konkan, Goa, and Kerala. The train is non-operational during the summers and will resume services later this year along the new route (Konkan region).

Also, Considering December as the peak tourist month in Goa, a special holiday train will be introduced in the same month. This will give lot of people a chance to enjoy the monsoons in Goa. However, during the monsoon, Goa is a lot cheaper, and the operation of Maharajas' Express during this season will give the travelers another reason to visit Goa.

Maharajas' Express is cited to be one of the most luxurious trains and a single journey can cost to about Rs. 2.4 lakh. In the former years, India has been ruled by several Maharajas. This train is designed to recreate the same old charisma that the carriages of Maharajas used to exhibit. The cabins of Maharajas' Express permeate prosperity and richness. Here are a few facilities one can enjoy during the travel:

Exquisite Cabins
The luxurious train consists of 14 guest carriages and each carriage is named after a precious stone.  Moti (Pearl), Neelam (Blue Sapphire), Heera (diamond), Feeroza (Turquoise), Pukhraj (Sapphire), and  Monga (Coral) just to name a few are the names of the carriages.  The carriages have been branched into 4 categories, namely, deluxe cabin, suite, junior suite and presidential suite. The number of cabins are as below:

· 20 deluxe cabins
· 18 junior cabins
· 4 suites
· 1 presidential suite (a perfect accommodation for around 88 passengers)


Each cabin is spacious and has a traditional decor that highlights the culture of India. Also, one gets to enjoy the modern-day facilities like TV, choice of beds (twin or king size), direct dial telephone, electronic safety deposit, DVD player, ensuite bathrooms with provision of toiletries, to name just a few.

Facilities
The exclusive Safari Bar is the perfect place to unwind your senses. The patrons get a chance to gorge on some of the world-class delicacies in fine gold cutlery and silver plated tableware. Also, every individual gets the benefit of enjoying facilities like Wi-Fi, individual climate control, DVD player etc. Apart from this, it is ensured that every guest enjoys impeccable services extended by a dedicate staff and a paramedic onboard.
