Villa Maly invites diners to experience Sindad, a Lao-styled combination of hot pot and barbecue as part of their new Culinary Package.
(TRAVPR.COM) LAOS - August 5th, 2015 - Sindad—a marriage between hot pot and barbecue--is one of the most popular dishes in Laos. Diners are invited to grill their own marinated beef or pork on a special plate shaped like a large orange squeezer which has “gutters” all round to catch the juices of the meat as they cook over the charcoal. This enhances the taste of the soup which the Laos people add vegetables and noodles to.
You can experience this incredible dish in all its glory in Villa Maly’s Culinary Package. By the hotel’s swimming pool under tropical coconut shades, a fine dining table is set up with full of well marinated tenderloin, ribs, pork, eggs, local seafood, fresh local vegetables and noodles. The grilling plate is placed as the centerpiece of the table. After firing up the grill, servers leave you to cook your favorite meat and enjoy yourself with your steaming hotpot.
Priced at US$ 286 and available until October 15, 2015, the Culinary Package of Villa Maly Boutique Hotel in Luang Prabang includes:
- 2-night stay at Villa Maly
- Daily American breakfast
- Return airport transfers
- A delectable Sindad, or Lao BBQ, for two
