PAPERLESS CHECK IN AT ALOFT BANGKOK HOTEL
(TRAVPR.COM) THAILAND - August 26th, 2015 - Aloft Bangkok - Sukhumvit 11 recently launched electronic signature capability for a paperless check-in system to eliminate the need to print check-in receipts or registration cards and speeding up the check-in process. It's the first property in the Starwood worldwide. The new technology has changed the traditional check-in process by enabling all information related to room reservations to be displayed on a tablet computer. Guests simply sign on the tablet with a stylus and receive their bills electronically at a prefered email address. This system simplifies and facilitates the check-in procedure and enhance guests' overall stay experience. The hotel has put paperless techniques into the reservation system 1 month ago. The new system greatly reduces paper wastage, resulting in a projected saving of 120,000 pieces of paper used.
