Once again Creta Maris Beach Resort organized two special days dedicated to the environment and tradition, the "Hotels’ surrounding areas Cleaning Day" and the "Traditional threshing Day" on the 27th and 29th of August 2015, respectively.
(TRAVPR.COM) GREECE - September 1st, 2015 - The aim of these actions was to raise the awareness of the hotel’s guests and employees by informing them about the environmental protection and the genuine Cretan tradition.
The activity that included cleaning of the hotels’ surrounding areas was held in the morning time of Thursday, August 27th, with a remarkable voluntary participation of guests and employees -the environmental group of the resort «Creta Maris Green Team». For one more time the message of environmental protection turned into action as an example to be followed.
Continuing, on Saturday, August 29th, for a second consecutive year, one of the most traditional Cretan customs, the traditional threshing took place, making in this way the guests who were participating communicants of Cretan customs and tradition. This special activity is a significant contribution of the hotel in promoting and communicating the culture and customs of Crete to the citizens of other countries.
These two actions are part of the annual sustainability program of Creta Maris Beach Resort and are the proof of the hotel's commitment to the environmental and cultural heritage protection.
