RTX Helps Maximize Value With End-Of-Year Checklist.
(TRAVPR.COM) USA - October 8th, 2015 - Membership has its benefits, and RTX wants to maximize them with its End-Of-Year Member Checklist. The deadline for RTX membership renewal is fast approaching. Before the rush of the holidays begins, the global exchange provider advises members to plan ahead to make 2016 a year filled with wonderful places to discover.
“Lower fuel costs and a strong U.S. dollar point to increased spending power for American travelers in the coming year,” says Justin Hunter, vice president of operations for RTX.
Hunter invites members to make the most of the favorable travel environment. They can bolster their spending power even more with the RTX End-Of-Year Checklist below filled with smart ways to get the most value from their membership.
RTX End-Of-Year Member Checklist
Deposit your 2015 usage and plan ahead for 2016. Can’t get away for vacation before the end of the year? No worries. The flexible RTX exchange system has the longest deposit length in the industry – up to four years. Members can extend the life of their vacation beyond the usage year. In fact, many members opt to save two or more years of usage to put toward one long vacation.
Extend the life of existing deposits. The RTX Deposit Life Extension option enables members to stretch their deposit life for up to 365 days. It’s easy to do. Members simply log onto their account and click on Deposit History to extend their deposit.
Renew RTX membership. For added value, RTX has a special Multi-Year Membership option. Members can save 20 percent on a three-year membership renewal and nearly 40 percent with a five-year renewal.
Use RTX rebates before they expire. Members earn money toward future travel with RTX rebates, enjoying rewards of up to $40 off their next purchase each time they exchange. To take full advantage of this benefit, they can check their account online or contact an RTX travel consultant to find out when their rebates expire.
Add exchange protection to reservations. Life happens – there are illnesses, job obligations, family emergencies . . . Sometimes even the most careful planners must cancel their vacations at the last minute. For as little as $37, the RTX Exchange Protection Plan ensures members can recover their resort week and exchange fee in the event of an unexpected cancellation.
Participants in this plan can cancel their reservation for any reason up to 15 days before their confirmed check-in time without penalty. Their deposited resort week will be returned to their RTX account, and their exchange fee will be fully refunded. Missed the 15-day deadline? Participants who cancel their reservations more than 24 hours ahead of their scheduled check-in time will still have their exchange fee fully refunded.
RTX’s fresh approach adds value and variety to vacation exchange. Unlike many exchange providers, RTX does not restrict itself to a single directory of properties. Offering unlimited destinations, the company works with as many resorts as possible to amplify the options. The flexible RTX exchange system allows for weeklong resort stays as well as cruise exchanges, a split 3/4-day option for weekend trips, extra vacations without exchanging and more. Plus, members enjoy a world of perks each time they travel, including hotel, air, rental car, getaways, restaurants, airport lounge membership, exclusive club publications, a VIP concierge line, and more.
