Railbookers has been announced as the winner of Best Rail Holiday Company (Medium) in the prestigious 2015 British Travel Awards, making it the fourth consecutive year that the company has been recognised in this category.

(TRAVPR.COM) UK - December 1st, 2015 - Railbookers has been announced as the winner of Best Rail Holiday Company (Medium) in the prestigious 2015 British Travel Awards, making it the fourth consecutive year that the company has been recognised in this category.  The announcement was made on 25 November at a glamorous Gala Awards ceremony, held in London and attended by close to a thousand travel industry people.

In addition, Railbookers was also awarded the Bronze Certificate for Best Holiday Company for Customer Service (Medium). This follows on from winning the ECMOD 2015 Outstanding Customer Service Award earlier in the year. With offices in London, Los Angeles, Sydney and Auckland, Customer Service has been a key focus for this growing company, with these awards truly cementing the achievements made during this time of expansion.

Head of Media and Communications, John Hale, was there to pick up the award at BTA’s gala evening.

“The key to Railbookers’ success has been its ethos to constantly evolve, from offering products tying in events such as Expo Milan and Europe’s best opera festivals, providing new ways to explore the world’s most incredible scenery on different routes and itineraries, to holidays that include global highlights such as India’s Holi Festival of Colour. A Tour Operator's role in the modern day travel industry is to inspire customers with new experiences, and this award, voted for by our customers, recognises that Railbookers are leading the way in our field. What’s more, to be recognised twice within a single year for the Customer Service we provide, is a credit to our entire team, and recognition we are truly proud of.’

British Travel Awards’ chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said: “More than a quarter of a million consumers voted this year to determine the winners of the 2015 British Travel Awards – it’s the largest awards programme in the UK and to win is a clear statement that companies are providing excellence in travel to the discerning consumer.  The travelling public regard the British Travel Awards winners logo as the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who are the best travel companies and Railbookers is to be congratulated on their achievement.”

The British Travel Awards is a proudly independent organisation, verified by leading global accountancy practitioners Deloitte.
