(TRAVPR.COM) UAE - December 7th, 2015 - The Grand Millennium Dubai team was present in full force to take part in the 7th Annual Beat Diabetes Walk held on 20th November in Dubai. The 2 km walk was organised at Zabeel Park by Landmark Group to raise awareness about diabetes that is recognized worldwide as a growing epidemic. More than 17,000 residents joined the walk in Dubai. The event took place simultaneously across five countries in the GCC namely Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE and Oman and included a number of fun-filled activities for the participants.The initiative advocates diabetes prevention and management by following three simple steps – Eat Healthy, Get Active and Take the Test.
