Waterville Valley Resort’s own Hannah Kearney will stop by to meet and ski with guests on December 27-28, 2015. Hannah is coming off of her final season in competition as a skier. She has completed a career that included appearances at three Olympics, winning two medals including the Gold at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver. She also competed in 10 World Cups winning 6 Moguls titles and 4 Overall titles, including both at her final appearance in 2015.

Hannah is coming off of her final season in competition as a skier. Hannah Kearney grew up training at Waterville Valley Resort with WVBBTS/SEF. “Hannah is the best freestyle skier in American history,” said General Manager Tim Smith. “The list of accomplishments speaks for itself. She has dominated the sport for an entire decade and we’re proud that she got her start here at Waterville Valley Resort. It seems very fitting that someone so accomplished would come from the Birthplace of Freestyle Skiing.”

On both December 27^th and 28^th, the ticket office will open at 7am and lifts will be turning at 8am. Tickets can also be purchased online at waterville.com. Hannah Kearney will be taking runs with guests in the morning and will be available until 1pm for photos and autographs either in the Courtyard or the 2^nd Floor of the Base Lodge, depending on weather. Columbia Sportswear will also be sponsoring a raffle each day in which attendees can win winter gear from Columbia.
