EPIC MADAGASCAR ‘PEAK TO SEA’ ATTEMPT: 60 DAY COUNTDOWN BEGINS
Industry: Adventure

This April, Secret Compass will take a team of adventure travellers to Madagascar in efforts to become the first to complete an epic peak to sea traverse of this wild African island.

(TRAVPR.COM) UK - February 23rd, 2016 -

With the clock ticking on applications there are just 60 days left to join this challenging endeavour.

“Madagascar has long attracted ambitious adventures,” said Tom Bodkin, director of Secret Compass.

“Our 2012 expedition led by Levison Wood was the first to cross Madagascar east to west, and this month Welshman Ash Dykes (25) became the first to cross it north to south.

“Secret Compass’s new Madagascar adventure throws some peaks and rivers into the mix. The team will summit the granite massif of Pic Boby before navigating remote forests to reach the two-person rafts in which the journey will be completed.”

Bodkin concluded, “Team mates are drawn to our expeditions by their demanding nature. Throwing an ambitious world-first in for good measure is the cherry on this Madagascan adventure cake.”
