(TRAVPR.COM) INDONESIA - March 24th, 2016 - Guests at the family-friendly InterContinental Bali Resort can now give their children a fun and exciting way to engage with Bali through the Planet Trekkers Mobile App. The new app, created by InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in partnership with National Geographic Kids, is a children’s travel journal and treasure hunt style game, which challenges youngsters (aged 6 – 12) to discover indigenous wildlife, take part in active pursuits and local cultural adventures, and taste native dishes and new flavours. With its built-in camera, the app allows children to upload photos and document all of their adventures and travel experiences. It also includes a ‘Play’ section where children have to navigate through a series of questions to receive gold stars and win the game. The Planet Trekkers app is available to download free of charge for iOS platform, and can be used offline. Guests can download the app directly from the Apple Store or by visiting the app section on the homepage of InterContinental.com
Planet Trekkers at InterContinental Bali Resort is aimed at taking the stress out of family travel.
