We are looking to host a national, regional, consumer or online publication for a week's stay in a luxury family run chalet in Morzine during the week of June 25th - July 2nd.
(TRAVPR.COM) LONDON - May 12th, 2016 - We are looking to host a seven night press trip to a stunning family owned chalet in Morzine, French Alps in return for a good peice of coverage about the chalet and the French Alps in the summer.
You may think it’s strange being invited to a ski resort in the summer BUT actually the alps have so much to offer in the summer months too and this is still yet to be discovered by many.
Based in the heart of Portes du Soleil, the chalet provides direct access to a range of exhilarating summer activities including hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, white water rafting, paragliding and so on.
With thousands of Londoners fluxing to the alps during the winter season to go skiing, few return during the summer months to take advantage of what the alps ha e to offer in the sunshine and warm weather. Locals prefer the summer season yet so many people are still to discover what it has to offer. We would love to work with you to help tailor a press trip to your specific needs.
As part of the trip we can include:
o Half board accommodation including wine with the seven course evening meal for yourself and a guest
o Daily afternoon tea which includes homemade cakes and coffee
o Use of the facilities at the chalet including the hot tub, pool table and sauna
o One main summer activity (provided at the discretion of the Morzine tourist board – based on pre-agreement of inclusion within a commissioned article)
Potentially we can also provide a Portes Du Soleil Multi Pass which gives you access to the ski lifts and a range of leisure activities throughout the 12 villages in the Portes du Soleil region including ice skating, tennis and museums.
In addition to what the resort has to offer, the chalet has received three prestigious TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Awards 2014 and is known for its exquisite food and bespoke service. Their Head Chef uses the freshest of ingredients and lots of local produce in his menus, aided by owner Francesca Eyre who is a Cordon Bleu chef. All bedrooms are individually themed (including Oriental, Savoyarde and Safari rooms) and have en-suite bathrooms with access to an outdoor hot tub, sauna, massage room and in-house childcare is provided in the chalet's own crèche.
Being a family run business, the chalet was created specifically for family holidays; with the chalet's fully qualified nannies able to offer care for children as young as 3 months old, allowing parents to enjoy their time on the mountain, knowing their children are well cared for and entertained! All the bedrooms at the chalet have been designed to suit families of all sizes and stages and the childcare facilities are unique to Morzine.
We look forward to hearing if this is of interest.
