The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center’s special exhibition Eat Well, Play Well opens on Friday, May 20.
(TRAVPR.COM) USA - May 17th, 2016 - Concord, NH –The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center’s special exhibition Eat Well, Play Well opens on Friday, May 20. This highly interactive science exhibition for children and families explores the interplay between good nutrition and an active lifestyle in maintaining health. Visitors learn about their favorite foods and physical fitness while jumping, playing, doing puzzles, push-ups, squats and engaging in a variety of fun activities.
Eat Well, Play Well was produced and is toured by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. This exhibit was made possible by a Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) grant from the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), a component of the National Institutes of Health.
The Discovery Center is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. General admission is $10 for adults, $9 for students and seniors, $7 for children ages 3 -12 years, and free for members and children ages 0 – 2 years.
The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center features 21st century interactive exhibits on aviation, astronomy, Earth and space sciences, a state-of-the-art planetarium and a variety of science, technology, and engineering and mathematics programs.
