Chinese tourists vote Muay Thai Live as the ‘Best Thai Show’, two years in a row.

(TRAVPR.COM) BANGKOK - June 28th, 2016 - Bangkok, June 27, 2016 - Muay Thai Live: The Legend Lives is honoured to win the prestigious 2016 People’s Choice Awards in the Best Thai Show category. The special awards, launched by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), are presented to popular tourist attractions and activities in Thailand among Chinese tourists.

In a high-profile gala award ceremony, held on Monday, June 27 at the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, TAT revealed the winners of each category. Muay Thai Live: The Legend Lives won the award in the Best Show category – making this win its second in a row (2015 and 2016). There to receive this special honour was the show’s Managing Director Mrs Viwan Karnasut, and Chairman of N.C.C Management and Development Mrs Phornsiri Manoharn.

In a bid to promote Thailand’s tourism to Chinese tourists and support the Thai travel industry, TAT has chosen most popular Thai attractions and divided them into 17 categories, namely destinations, attractions, hotels, airlines, restaurants, spas, medical, shopping malls, shows, festivals, food, fruit, and golf. The voting began on June 7 and ended on June 19, 2016.
