The cruise liner will support the accommodation service for the four thousand participants expected to attend the Africa Arab World Summit
(TRAVPR.COM) USA - November 17th, 2016 - The government of Equatorial Guinea has chartered a cruise liner to accommodate some of the guests during the Fourth Africa Arab World Summit this month.
Africa’s history has been long and often difficult. Equatorial Guinea has grown into a booming country, with wealth coming from oil and gas. The Horizonte 2020 Development Plan has identified Tourism as a sector for diversification.
H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has turned this country from zero into the gateway for Central Africa, said Victor Mooney of the Spirit of Malabo Group.
Equatorial Guinea has made huge investments in infrastructure and remains one of the most stable and peaceful countries in Africa. Visitors can catch glimpse of African culture, breathtaking bird watching excursions, ecotourism or play round golf on a championship course. The country is also home to a number of five star hotels and resorts.
It’s only a matter of time when Malabo is added a destination for cruise liners making ports of call in Africa, added Mr. Mooney.
The theme for the Fourth Africa Arab World Summit is Sustainable Development and Economic Cooperation. The governments of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have already made sizable donations to support this gathering in Malabo.
