Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled master plan of Hanuvantiya extension scheme on the occasion of the second Jal-Mahotsav in Hanuvantiya today. Detailed development plan has been prepared for 308 hectare land. The master plan will be implemented for ten years for planned development of the area. It will be reviewed after five years. Town and Country planning department has rolled out master plan first time for any tourism area. Boriyamal and Dharikota, two areas nearby Hanuvantiya have been declared respectively entertainment and wild life related areas.
(TRAVPR.COM) INDIA - December 29th, 2016 - Chief Minister Shri Chouhan launched two houseboats costing Rs 2.40 crore in water. First time in the state, operation of houseboat has started in any water tourism center. Each boat has three rooms equipped with all facilities. Shri Chouhan dedicated extension works for tourist facilities in Hanuvantiya tourist complex. Besides, works worth over Rs five crore have been started there.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan flagged off boat race at Hanuvantiya boat club. He distributed certificates to youths for training related adventure tourism, being organized in collaboration with Atoi by Tourism Development Corporation. Before this, Shri Chouhan saw facilities for tourism development at Hanuvantiya tourist complex. Secretary tourism and MD of State Tourism Development Corporation Shri Hari Ranjan Rao informed the Chief Minister about development works underway at Hanuvantiya.
Member of Parliament and BJP state president Shri Nandkumar Singh Chouhan chaired the programme. On the occasion, minister for energy, Shri Paras Chandra Jain, minister for school education, Kunwar Vijay Shah, minister of state for tourism and culture (independent charge), Shri Surendra Patwa, chairman of Tourism Development Corporation Shri Tapan Bhaumik and MLAs Shri Lokendra Singh Tomar and Shri Devendra Verma were present.
