After the extended season until April 9th, Waterville Valley Resort will reopen for skiing and riding on Easter weekend, April 15th and April 16th. The weekend will be marked with special events and celebrations for families and friends both on the mountain and in the Town Square. Sunday, April 16th, will be the last day of the successful 2016/17 winter season.
(TRAVPR.COM) USA - March 31st, 2017 - Waterville Valley Resort, NH - After the extended season until April 9th, Waterville Valley Resort will reopen for skiing and riding on Easter weekend, April 15th and April 16th. The weekend will be marked with special events and celebrations for families and friends both on the mountain and in the Town Square. Sunday, April 16th, will be the last day of the successful 2016/17 winter season.
On Saturday, April 15th, kids ages 11 and under can participate in the Easter Egg Hunt, which will start at 9:30am in Town Square. Also on Saturday, the Waterville Valley Recreation Department invites everyone to Free Open Gym 10am to 12pm.
Sunday, April 16th, will start with a non-denominational Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at the top of Mt. Tecumseh. All guests are welcome to take a ride on the White Peaks Express Chair starting at 5:15am and join a service surrounded by the White Mountains. Free skiing and riding will follow the event until 7:45am.
Lifts for skiers and snowboarders on the last day of the season will start spinning at 8:00am. Kids 12 and under can head down to the lower mountain for the Waterville Valley Resort Easter Egg Challenge. There will be Easter Brunch Buffet at T-Bars starting at 8:30am.
