Lace up the shoes and hit the road of Laos' old capital for a good cause.

(TRAVPR.COM) LAOS - October 16th, 2017 - Luang Prabang is hosting the city's 5th marathon for charity. Runners from all over the globe are invited to take part over 7 kms, 14 kms, and 21 kms in a race that winds past the old capital's landmarks and raises money for Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC). The LFHC provides free medical care to over  15,000 children who travel long distances, up to 8 hours, to receive the medical care available. The race is going to take place 22nd October 2017, yet various activities are celebrated before and after the half marathon.
