CzechTourism invites members of the press to discover 435 miles of the Czech Republic via bicycle with award-winning travel vlogger Brian Cox
(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED STATES - January 18th, 2018 - New York, NY. CzechTourism recently teamed up with award-winning travel vlogger, Brian Cox to document his inspiring 14-day / 435-mile bicycle ride across the Czech Republic. The goal of this partnership is to share what makes the country an optimal cycling destination for all levels and distances.
On January 24th in NYC, CzechTourism will host Brian at an event for the media where Brian will show a short film that combines the highlights from all 14 episodes followed by a short panel and reception.
“I could not have picked a better place to embark on such a journey than the Czech Republic. It is home to picturesque scenery, excellent beer, hearty food, friendly locals and over 3,000 miles of bike trails with service stations and accommodation for cyclists”, says Brian Cox.
Beginning at the German border, near Karlovy Vary, and ending at the Polish border near Ostrava - the ride was captured in a series of 14 videos (one covering each day of the journey) and can be found at on Brian’s The Travel Vlogger page on YouTube at this link: https://goo.gl/k1i3QU
Cycling in the Czech Republic is "a way for travelers to get immersed in our culture and to really see the country", says the Director of CzechTourism, USA and Canada, Michaela Claudino. "Traveling via bicycle leaves little impact on the environment, it boosts local travel, promotes physical health and it supports local businesses”, adds Claudino.
