The beach of Creta Maris Beach Resort was awarded as one of the best privately exploiting sustainable beaches in the Mediterranean, by receiving the certification “Sustainable Beach of the Mediterranean” by Costa Nostrum - Sustainable Beaches program.
(TRAVPR.COM) GREECE - June 4th, 2018 - The official award ceremony, which took place on Saturday 26th of May, at Creta Maris’ premises, was attended by 90 scientists and researchers from all over the world, who were participating in the “2018 International Sandy Beaches Symposium”, which this year was hosted by the Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture of HCMR, in Crete.
On the occasion of this award, the Chairman and Managing Director of Metaxas Group of Companies, Mr. Andreas Metaxas stated the following:
