(TRAVPR.COM) UK - July 12th, 2018 - Acacia Africa has been nominated for the award of Best Escorted Adventure Holiday Company in the prestigious 2018 British Travel Awards (BTAs). The winners will be determined by the consumer, who has until 30 September to cast their vote, with the successful companies announced at the BTA Gala Awards Dinner, being held in London on 28 November 2018.
An adventure travel specialist, Acacia Africa has offices in London and South Africa, the tour operator’s portfolio of over 100 budget-friendly itineraries including Overland Tours, Small Group Safaris, Short Safaris & Treks and City Breaks & Short Stays. Acacia's award-winning guides are dedicated to making sure everyone enjoys their time on the continent - students, couples, families and senior travellers booking with the specialist.
Arno Delport, Sales & Marketing Manager at Acacia Africa comments, “It’s an honour for Acacia Africa to be nominated as Best Escorted Adventure Holiday Company in this year's British Travel Awards. We’ve had some great feedback from our travellers over the last 12 months, which is due in large part to our welcoming and knowledgeable tour leaders, all of whom were born in Africa. Their passion for the places we visit and commitment to everyone who books with us is one of the main reasons for our continued success as a tour operator. If we do win it would be recognition for all the team's hard work - everyone staying true to Acacia’s original aim - to experience the real Africa on a budget.”
BTA chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said: “The British Travel Awards give you the opportunity to reward travel and tourism enterprises for outstanding performance in service delivery and product offering. Voting in the 2018 Awards is now open and nominated companies have until 30th September to lobby their happy customers for votes – good luck to Acacia Africa.”
