Travel trade author Steve Crowhurst has released his third trade paperback - this time all about Travel Safety.
(TRAVPR.COM) BRITISH COLUMBIA - November 30th, 2018 - "Three down, twenty to go!" That's what travel trade author Steve Crowhurst said as he published his third How-To paperback, A Travel Agent's Guide to Travel Safety. Crowhurst is on a mission to publish his previous eGuides, travel trade training sessions and presentations as soft-cover books and make them available on Amazon.com. His E-Guides are still available from The Travel Institute.
The current publication, Travel Safety, focuses on keeping travel agents safe when travelling on a FAM or vacation. The content targets women in travel, athough male travel agents can adopt the same advice to their own situations.
Throughout the book, Crowhurst stresses the need for travel agents to publish their own Safe Travel Guide and use the ideas from his book when doing so. By publishing a Safe Travel Guide, Crowhurst says, a travel agent can reduce the chances of a client sueing for negligence in advice as the Safe Travel Guide will cover how to stay safe, why travel insurance is a 'must have' and why each client should invest in and take responsibility for their travel safety.
Governments of America, Canada and Australia operate safe travel websites offering travel advisories, and webpages where agents and their clients can register before travelling. Travel Safety is now a hot topic and should be presented and marketed as a customer service niche.
The 171 page book covers: General stay safe common sense followed by, Accessible Safety, Air Travel Safety, Cruising Safety, Corporate Safety, Train Travel Safety, Hotel Safety, How Accidents Happen, Accidents by Niche, How to Send an SOS, Travel Insurance, Travel Safety for Women, Self Defense tips, A review of Travel Scams by Steve Gillick and much more! Protect yourself, your family, your business and your clients.
