1300 persons enjoying Chinese New Year celebration dinner leaving fond memories to bring home with them after the event.The dinner started at 08.00 PM onwards featured series of Chinese New Year authentic livened entertainment from Malaysia which kept the guest entertained. This event also showed off the richness of Pacific Palace Hotel Chinese culinary set menu which definitely satisfy your taste buds especially well prepared by Pacific Palace Hotel culinary team. The eight course Chinese set menu consist of Rainbow fish salad, braised baby abalone, prosperity duck, eight treasure golden rice, prosperity fried fish with chili crab sauce, superior fish may, fortune steamboat and sweet ending
During the dinner, lion dance by skilled team performed rousing dance to build up the Chinese New Year spirit. As celebration of cheer and good fortune, special Yu Sheng also has been prepared for tossing at the beginning of the event lead by newly appointed General Manager, Mr. Sumantri Endang accompany with Head of Department and wishing all guests happy, wealthy and prosperous New Year . In Chinese tradition, Yu Sheng, which is a tossing salad with raw fish, was considered as an auspicious dish especially eaten during Chinese New Year because it was a homophone for ‘increase in abundance’.
