SUMMER ACTIVITIES IN THE SUNNY CAYMAN ISLANDS
Industry: Tours
Stingray City Cayman Islands

Whether you are visiting the Cayman Islands via land or sea, there are summer activities that are designed for you.

(TRAVPR.COM) CAYMAN ISLANDS - June 19th, 2019 - Sunshine, tranquility, unpolluted environment, first class infrastructure, social harmony, and relatively low crime rate, all contribute to making the Cayman Islands one of the best thriving Caribbean destinations.  Great climate all year round helps make it an excellent place for many sporting activities, especially water sports.  However, if you prefer privacy and quiet relaxation, then there is a place for you too.

If you are planning on visiting the Cayman Islands, be sure to book one of the many tours offered by Stingray City Cayman Islands Ltd., a company specializing in top class land and water activities on Grand Cayman.  As travel experts, they have all the advice you need to help you find and book your dream tour for an unforgettable summer adventure on land and water.

More than 30 years after first being discovered, the North Sound is rated as one of the top spectacular activities in the Cayman Islands. It’s the perfect choice for snorkeling in crystal clear waters to capture images of Cayman’s beautiful coral reefs and swimming with some of the largest southern stingrays in the region.  Enjoy the 20 minutes boat ride to the warm shallow waters surrounding the sandbar at stingray city where you will be greeted by these friendly magnificent animals eager to take food from your hand.  On completion of this adventure you will be taken to Coral Garden and Starfish Point where you will enjoy a breathtaking reef snorkel along the barrier reefs with its mass array of sea species and coral formations.  At Starfish Point you will have an opportunity to get out of the water and walk along a very secluded sandy beach while your boat crew search for the perfect location for a close encounter with some of the many colorful starfish.

Departing from your water activities, you will then journey by bus to the Turtle Centre in West Bay, where you will see green turtles of all ages in holding tanks and have a chance to hold and pet the young turtles. The land activity is not complete until you have visited Hell to view the short, black limestone formations and send postcards from Hell to family and friends.

For visitors not wishing to take part in our water activities, we suggest a tour to five of Cayman’s Historic and Cultural Sites, via air condition shuttle bus, to locations such as the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, Pedro St. James, Wreck of the Ten Sails, and Tortuga Rum Factory.

The Cayman Islands are a British Overseas Territory and considered the jewel of the Caribbean with a population of approximately 58,000.  With the majority of the island’s income being derived from tourism, the Islands showcase some of the top resorts in the Caribbean, the majority of which are located on Seven Mile Beach. Pristine white sand lines a stretch of the northern coast that is home to 5 Star hotels such as the Ritz Carlton, the Westin, and Kimpton Seafire, to name a few. Transportation to the island is much like hoping over to another state, if you are traveling from the US.  An average travel time of one hour from Miami, and 2.5 hours from Texas. Airlines such as Cayman Airways, American, Delta, West Jet, Southwest, JetBlue, United, Continental and Air Canada, fly into George Town on a regular basis. British Airways also offer flights four times a week from Heathrow, with a stop in Nassau Bahamas.

Upon selecting a tour with Stingray City Cayman Islands, guests arriving by cruise ship or staying at a local resort, will be transported via air condition free shuttle service to Safe Haven Marina, which is located at the rear of the Ritz Carlton, for all water related tours. We offer a wide range of land and water tours including private excursions with native foods and drinks. Large group tours are also available for up to 200 persons by utilizing multiple vessels and air condition transport buses. Tours to Stingray City can also be added to any Turtle Centre Tour or Island Tour offered online as a package deal. Stingray City Tours are designed for all ages, including kids and young infants.

Come and experience some of the finest selections of Cayman’s top attractions for the Summer.
