Leading host travel agency rolls out new comprehensive online learning series

(TRAVPR.COM) UNITED STATES - July 17th, 2020 - Keeping true to the focus on travel agent education, KHM Travel Group has launched Virtual EDU – a robust 12-week online educational series for travel agents who are looking to expand their knowledge. Virtual EDU is designed to meet agents where they are, provide them with flexibility, and give them the most up to date and timely information possible.

Each week, Virtual EDU will focus on one area of running a travel business. Some topics include qualifying clients in light of new policies and travel restrictions and using KHM Travel Group’s client management system to stay organized. As the weeks progress, more advanced topics such as groups, river cruising, FIT/guided tours, luxury travel segments, and business strategies will be introduced.

Each week’s lesson is taught by the KHM Travel Group team and covered through recorded video presentations, allowing agents to read and view content. This means that agents can fit it into their busy schedules when it is convenient for them. The KHM Travel Group team also hosts a weekly Q&A Happy Hour via Zoom for agents to chat with one another, team members, and special guests, like travel suppliers.

From the concept and writing to the design and implementation, Virtual EDU has been just one of KHM Travel Group’s new initiatives since the COVID-19 pandemic emerged. In addition to providing updates and resources, the host agency has been hosting weekly Agent to Agent webinars and Facebook Lives to engage and inspire their travel agents.
