Baros Maldives has been voted the world’s Top Luxury Hotel by the world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor.

(TRAVPR.COM) MALDIVES - August 12th, 2020 - Baros Maldives has been voted the world’s Top Luxury Hotel by the world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor. In the latest annual Travelers’ Choice Awards, Baros beat some of the world’s most famous luxury hotels to the Number One position.

In addition, the popular island resort was acclaimed among the world’s top 25 hotels for romance and in the top 25 of all hotels in Asia as well as in the world. Baros Maldives won more Travelers’ Choice Awards by TripAdvisor than any other Maldives Resorts and is the only Maldives resort to be listed in the top 25 hotels of the world this year. 

Travelers’ Choice awards are the highest recognition granted by the TripAdvisor website. Unlike other hospitality industry awards, Travelers’ Choice winners are determined by guests posting reviews on the website based on their personal experience of a hotel.

Baros has often been among the Top 25, but this is the first time the resort has topped the Luxury Hotel category as well as being featured in the Top 25 in three other categories.
