Inflight feed, the airline food guide online since 2012, has launched a redesigned website and logo.
(TRAVPR.COM) AUSTRALIA - September 2nd, 2020 - The newly designed website provides helpful tips, including inflight guides that show passengers how to pre-order special meals, new COVID-19 inflight service updates, and an inflight service news section.
The websites creator Nik Loukas arrived from overseas in Melbourne, Australia in April completing his 14-day hotel quarantine and documenting it for the Inflight Feed Youtube channel and Instagram page.
"Since being grounded and not able to fly since April, I wanted to use this time to rebrand and launch a better web experience for users," said Loukas.
Loukas began work on the project during his hotel quarantine stay and continued the work during the various phases of lockdown in Melbourne.
Like other travel websites, he has seen a considerable reduction in overall visitors, especially since March, however as airlines around the world continue to open air routes visitors are slowing coming back.
"It's interesting to see the various inflight meal offers from around the world post COVID. Considering that so many airline caterers have reduced staff and their operations, it's still great to see that most airlines are trying to offer something as per the ICAO guidelines", said Loukas.
