(TRAVPR.COM) INDIA - March 31st, 2021 - Chandigarh: AAFT School of Tourism and Hospitality Dr. Sandeep Marwah also Managing Director of National Federation of Tourism and Transport Cooperatives of India limited visited the Union Territory of Chandigarh which is also capital of Punjab and Haryana.

Chandigarh is considered to be one of the best designed cities of India. The city has one of the highest per capita incomes in thew country. The city is cleanest in India based on a national Government study. It has also been ranked as the happiest city in the country. The metropolitan area of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula collectively forma a Tricity with a combined population of over 17 lacs.

“Delhi Chandigarh is one of the important tourism sectors in North India. This sector can be raised to new platform by propagating heavily, the advantages and silent features of Chandigarh. AAFT School of Tourism has Chandigarh in the list of cities to be visited by the students of Tourism and Hospitality,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah in a press conference at Hotel Lalit Rajiv Gandhi IT Park DLF Commercial Complex.

Dr. Marwah took the round of the city to have first-hand experience of the beauty of the city including Chandigarh International Airport.
