IC Travel Agent to becme the go-to e-magazine for home-based travel agents, OSRs and IC looking for proven, cutting edge ideas on how to sell MORE travel from home.

(TRAVPR.COM) CANADA - October 3rd, 2013 - IC Travel Agent is the latest innovation to come from SMP Training Co., and is designed to support the professional home-based travel agent (HBA), outside sales rep’ (OSR) and independent contractor (IC).

Crowhurst produces a how-to magazine that’s filled with ideas on how to generate new business from a home office and also offers insights into “going home”, how to set up a professional office with the necessary technology and discusses new sales tools, marketing software and working with and supporting one’s chosen host agency.

Under the Resources tab, home-based agents will find links to trade articles, travel trade magazines, websites, videos and social media reports. Crowhurst’s articles will be published in the IC Travel Agent e-magazine which is unique in that it includes Video Training Pages. Readers can click on the video icon to watch, listen and learn within the digital magazine.

Resources will continue to be added and visitors to the IC Travel Agent website are welcome to submit their own articles based on successful marketing campaigns. “There is always room in the magazine for a well written article that shares a success story...” said Crowhurst, “...the concept of IC Travel Agent is Be Sure to Share – in other words you can take what you want and then preferably help your colleagues by playing it forward and sharing what you find.”
