Hyatt Regency Delhi Introduced an Authentic Chinese Menu at the China Kitchen
(TRAVPR.COM) INDIA - July 14th, 2014 - Delhi - After breaking through and successfully introducing an authentic Chinese menu, including best-selling favorites - Peking duck, Beggars Chicken, Sichuan poached sliced lamb and a combination of interesting dumplings to name just a few - The China Kitchen has launched the restaurant’s largest and most extensive menu since it first opened six years ago.
Executive Chef Marin Leuthard and his brigade of highly skilled chefs, each a craftsman in his own right have all geared up to recreate the magic of authentic Chinese with Chef Jack Aw Yongs new menu.
The China Kitchen’s new menu includes a variety of choices for vegetarians, thirty one varieties of dumpling and creative interpretations of dessert, bringing a distinctive menu to the city’s existing Chinese food scene, and offering the guests a break from the norm.
The new menu which has been on offer from May 2014, and features the following unique items: steamed rice “shao mai”, steamed crispy tofu, baked shrimp cabbage roll, traditional pumpkin soup, slow-cooked peppery lamb leg, sea bass fish “Papilliotte” and more.

Located adjacent to the pool, The China Kitchen comprises four distinctive components: an open kitchen that is encountered immediately on entering the restaurant; five skillfully designed private dining rooms; the wine wall and tea bar; and the dining area.
Depicting traditional elements of a Chinese house, the restaurant is surrounded by double-glazed glass on all sides and welcomes diners into the majestic open kitchen, which incorporates five sections, namely the Peking duck station, the dumpling and noodle station, the steamer, the wok and the dessert kitchen.
With a strong emphasis on fresh ingredients The China Kitchen menu has been well crafted under the direct supervision of Master chefs, each a craftsman in his speciality.The ingredients form an important part of the restaurant and in order to retain the authenticity of the cuisine, a large variety of vegetables is grown on our farms using Chinese seeds.
The private dining rooms, a unique high point of the restaurant, have been named after the provinces of China, which incidentally also point to the chefs’ origins – Sichuan, Hubei, Guangzhou, Anhui and Hunan. Each room offers diners special cuisine, as well as a music menu, and one of the rooms also features karaoke equipment for additional entertainment.
The restaurant’s style is that of a traditional tea bar, offering a wide selection of Chinese teas and creating an alternative venue in which to relax and indulge in a true Chinese dining experience that brings together cutting-edge style and culture.
The China Kitchen provides the perfect introduction to authentic Chinese cuisine accompanied by an excellent selection of wines and Chinese beverages. A specially designed wine wall showcases the wine selection, which is stored at the correct temperature to suit all connoisseurs.

The China Kitchen is open daily for lunch from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm and for dinner from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
