(TRAVPR.COM) UK - August 1st, 2014 - It might not be one of the biggest London events of the year, but the revival of My Night with Reg at the Donmar Warehouse comes with much excitement.
It is the summer of 1985 and a group of young friends gather at Guy's London flat to party the night away. Everything does not run smoothly and for Guy and his circle the world is about to change forever. Set among London’s gay community, Kevin Elyot's comedy captures the fragility of friendship, happiness and life itself. The play originally opened 20 years ago at the Royal Court Theatre to rave reviews, and defining a moment in the lives of gay me it became an instant classic. The production went on to win both the Evening Standard and Laurence Olivier Awards for Best Comedy, as well as awards from the Writers' Guild and Critics' Circle. The show has proven to be hugely popular and several nights have already sold out but tickets are still available for selected performances.
My Night with Reg runs from July 31 and ends September 27 at the Donmar Warehouse. Prices range from £10-£35 - visit www.londontown.com for more information.
