The Big Grill, UAE’s only BBQ and Grill festival debuts to a bigger and most prestigious venue in Abu Dhabi, Yas Links on Yas Island. Presented by SWYP, the steak and meat festival is free to the public and is expected to draw crowds from across emirates uniting in celebration of this unique gathering. Set from 6^th to 8^th December 2018 and themed GRILLIN’ ‘N’ CHILLIN’ this 3-day event captures two main aspects of the festival while comfortably accommodating the forecasted increase of visitors and on site program.

GRILLIN’ features top notch local restaurants and steakhouses coming out to serve the best BBQs and Grills for meat lovers; The Pit Master station where BBQ chefs share secrets of the grill; from choosing meat, preparing, seasoning, BBQing and how to put those diamond grill marks on the meat. More on the GRILLIN’ include self-grill stations; Pit master classes and competitions for the title of the King of the Grill.

The Big Grill, perhaps the most stress free and casual of the city’s many food festivities will set the tone to a relaxed weekend of MEATS and MUSIC. CHILLIN highlights a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere as food lovers enjoy mouth-watering steaks and jamming to local and international performances. 

“This year’s edition of The Big Grill finds a new home in Yas Links; a move to build on the success of previous editions. Festivities to the island will welcome increased number of visitors and vendors. With an estimated increase of 34% from previous year, 2018 promises to fare even better experience as local chefs and international artists light up the festival” said Aleksandra, Mission Control X, Event Organiser.

With The Big Grill coming soon, this will be a December to remember - perfect moment in time to chill up, chill down and chill out with live entertainment featuring local and international acts; raucous cook off to determine the King and Queen of The Grill; Grill Masters’ pits and lots of grill samples, refreshments and more. A special supervised children’s park will be available for harried parents and there will be lots of rest areas where you can just lie back and enjoy the food, the family, the fun and the fine weather.

The Big Grill brings to life a friendly backyard BBQ atmosphere catering to thousands of like-minded people, from all walks of life, brought together for a stress-free time, unforgettable family fun and irresistible taste of grills.
