This weekend also sees the return of the popular Museums and Night, treating visitors to some after-hours fun in some of London's finest museums, galleries and heritage sights. Presented by Oval Space and The Whisky Lounge, The London Whisky Weekender launches on Friday. Running for three days, the festival is a celebration of whisky from around the world and provides the opportunity to sample whiskies from more than 20 distilleries, try pre-1945 whiskies while overlooking one of the last remaining Blitz sites in London, and take a tour of the Pickle Factory distillery. Plus, there will be an East End Lounge that offers a glimpse into London's boozy past. Another alcohol-themed event taking place this weekend is the RAW Artisan Wine Fair at The Old Truman Brewery. Inviting more than 150 growers to showcase their products, the event focuses on high quality, pure wine that aims to be a little healthier than your typical bottle of plonk.
